This file is the durable checkpoint for the active goal: generate the remaining lessons and align both the research-frontier state and the learner-progress state.
Current Research Frontier State¶
Status: represented in the local graph and distilled into the frontier course.

Current distilled frontier:
- The minimal static near-square 2D theorem is solved for theorem-level Quantum Tanner families in linear space.
- The chosen-presentation expansion route remains important for seeing the expander-versus-grid mechanism.
- The invariant cut object is cross-cut stabilizer rank, equivalently binary matroid connectivity of the stabilizer support matrix.
- The compiler-native theorem currently on disk is submodular cut congestion for SWAP-only service.
- Remaining open frontiers include explicit deterministic packaging, linear balanced cut rank for Quantum Tanner matrices, dense original-matroid concentration, local quotient-image accumulation, and semantics beyond submodular
CD.
Current Learner State¶
Status: not yet aligned.
Reason: the learner requested a fresh start because most Heptabase-generated teaching material was not actually read. The repo now contains the generated course material, but the learner has not yet completed or passed the diagnostics.

How Future Sessions Should Continue¶
- Read learner-progress.md.
- Read session-protocol.md.
- Read the active course progress tracker.
- Read session-log.md.
- If no learner evidence exists, ask diagnostic-intake.md Mode A and grade with diagnostic-intake-key.md.
- If foundations are not complete, continue the foundation lesson path.
- If the learner wants to skip ahead, grade the foundation assessment rubric.
- If foundations are complete, continue the frontier-alignment lesson path.
- Use the frontier assessment rubric only after Lessons 01-09 of the frontier course.
- Do not mark learner alignment complete from lesson files alone. Require diagnostic evidence.
Completion Rule¶
The active goal is complete only when both conditions hold:
- the generated repo corpus covers the current Conjecture 3 frontier; and
- the learner has passed the relevant diagnostics, with the result recorded in learner-progress.md.
Until both are true, the correct state is: material generated, learner alignment pending.
